2009 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup is the 5^th edition of tournament and it is governed by FIFA.16 countries from 6 different zones are taking part in the event. The venue is Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The 16 countries which were qualified in the earlier matches are Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Solomon Islands, Japan, El Salvador, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
